The Society of American Magicians Assembly 4 in Philadelphia awarded Donna Horn 1st Place Children's Entertainer for 2002, 2006, and 2008.
The International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 165 also awarded Donna Horn 1st Place Children's Magician for 2006 and Second Place Children's Magician for 2008.
Donna Horn's confectionery replica of the new U.S.commemorative stamp to honor Houdini was featured in the August 2002 issue of the Society of American Magicians' MUM Magazine.
Every part of the levitated Houdini cake was edible, including the the chains that bind Houdini and the playing card that he holds in his hand!
On May 1, 2004, at Rowan University's gala opening of the Edelman Planetarium, Donna Horn levitated a three-hundred pound cake sculpture of a NASA astronaut standing on the moon. The entire confectionery sculpture was edible--including the astronaut's helmet, uniform, moon boots, and life support system. Even the American flag and the hundreds of moon rocks on the lunar surface were edible!
Donna Horn will be demonstrating her skills and autographing her new confectionery art books at the International Cake Exploration Societe's Show and Convention in Washington, DC. at the Hilton Washington, 1919 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC
